Winter Park Film Festival is dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking in the unique and picturesque setting of Winter Park. Our mission is to spotlight filmmakers and their experiences, fostering a platform for creative expression. Our festival aims to bring a high-end cinema experience directly to the local community, enriching cultural engagement and appreciation for the cinematic arts.
Alive Film Challenge is a filmmaking event focusing on mental health and addiction. It's open to participants worldwide, allowing filmmakers from any corner of the globe to take part. The primary requirement is that your film addresses themes related to mental health or addiction, whether through a documentary, narrative, or animated format. Tell a great story no matter what you have available to you. The top three films will be showcased at the prestigious Winter Park Film Festival. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to win a valuable prize: a camera rental package + full production support worth over $10,000 to take your project to the next level. The winning film will also receive a $2,000 grant to further support their creative endeavors.
